Día 2

Day two in Santa Cruz has proven quite productive. We did some rearranging at Richard's residency to accommodate for quality studio space. In the afternoon, the three of us (Richard, Jon, and myself) walked towards the middle of the city, where the plaza is called "Manzana Uno." The streets are vibrant and bustling. We often stopped to take photographs, especially of the various architecture. We are constantly considering the ways we can be inspired by the city of Santa Cruz for making art. In the evening, we did some studio work. Jon and I finally got to get started on our own studio work (beyond picture taking) back at Yuda's house. Her family is so kind for welcoming us in. We are working on some drawings to post on this blog as wells to explore potential forms and concepts for our installation.

  1. Bolivia sounds incredible. I'd love to see some pictures of what you two are working on, no matter how incomplete. I'm still a little confused about what the actual project is.
